Portal Levels

In order to create the levels I looked at Portal 2 levels and extracted elements that were recurrent. I noticed a lot of levels give the player a sense of proportion due to size. A player feels small in these big levels and it also allows for the player to thoroughly seach for puzzle clues. I also noticed that the level designers do not waist any puzzle items. Most puzzle items have to be reused to solve the puzzle, especially in the more difficult levels.  Continue reading Portal Levels
